Hey now 2 of my comments have been deleted???? WTF??
Thanks for the reminder Dottie!! I am dealing with a similar situation and now that I am in Graduate school I do not have the luxury of FREE Social Work for my friends, and they are like WTF!!! Working harder than the person you are working with is always a huge RED FLAG, during hours and during off hours!!! We are Social Workers for a reason afterall!!!! Barb
Randy Randy Randy!!! I hope you heal quickly and soon will carry a small can of pepper/mace to spray in case of another dog!!!??? What a way to wrap up a great summer!!! I know you are taking extra special care of yourself, so I know you will be just fine, real soon!! love to you, Barb
Ok Dottie, it's an honor to put in my 2 cents worth!!! "Lamentation" has been a favorite of mine since you shared it!!

I have not been playing with my water colors for awhile I had to put them away, I had too much paperwork and a JOB to find!! I am going for a 3 day NAMI convention in SF this weekend!! 100% paid for everything it is at the Marriot at the SF airport!!! Lots of folks fly in from all over the country!! I am so looking forward to all of the latest and greatest in the Wellness and Recovery movement in the Mental Health arena!! My heart has been here for a long time. It has been more than a year since I have attended a conference this far fromm Butte County!! So I am really excited. Enjoy your weekend and keep painting ANYTHING and EVERYTHING!!!! Barb
Wow Dottie you continually amaze me, I honestly thought the 1st one was an OLD cave painting, I love your imagination!! Well of course people love that one, it takes us back many centuries!!
Yes, I too read the whole thing and it was a really well thought out story of the endless possiblities we here in the staes have!!! Gotta share that one with my daughter whose dad worked the fields of Durango,Mexico and then the California fields before she was ever born.
Perfect addition to an already GREAT DAY James!!!!!!!!!!! It is really a compliment to you and your level of "homework" you know that right??!!! I'll vote for you any day of the WEEK!!!! I'm finally getting my gallbladder out asap, I'm hoping for next week!! I did the lovely 2 hour test on my back btw, yesterday so the results will be at the Doc's soon!! I will feel so much better once I get it OUT!!! I love that you are THAT POPULAR James!!!! Who knew!!!
Dottie, I am so impressed with this different method of your painting!!! I will have to research the cellophane technique soon!!?? I am making homemade paper today and drying them in the oven at 125 temp in beautiful clay hearts I have had for decades!! I will either chalk them or perhaps a few dabs of watercolor!! I needed a couple of lovely 50th birthday gifts for this Sat!! : ) I'm not ready to post anything that I have been painting or making just yet, but thank you for the complements!! You are truly gifted and inspire me!!!!!!!!!! I mostly dabble in abstracts with any kind of embellishments I have on hand, but have been making flowers and trees lately!!
How exciting, I love the color combinations Jon!!!! I am looking forward to the day when I feel my watercolor paintings are worth a lovely frame to hang them on the wall!!!
I would love to shop in that supermarket!!! Who knew that is where the goods are being sold!!
I not only love all of the colors you used....but this painting says so much to me!! You are really an incredible artist!! Have a good week Dottie!!
Thanks for sharing Shelly... I hope we get to see the finished product!!?? hint hint I have had to paint almost daily, with watercolors since we were evacuated, and I am learning to be done or not be done!! No pressure, it is all just so peaceful and relaxing!!! I forgot how much I love to paint!!! I love how I can express myself with colors of the rainbow!! I still draw stick figures, BTW!!!!
