My neighbour has been letting her chickens roam her yard, and they come over to my yard too. I have a pile of hay behind my garden, and the chickens burrowed into it and made a little nesting area... and then there were 3 eggs. :)

And just for fun I catch chickens. :)

Told my neighbour that I consider any eggs found in my yard to be mine (she agreed). I was thinking of leaving the eggs to see if they would hatch.

And then I looked at it this afternoon, and there were 12 eggs!! LOL!

So I cooked up a bunch for supper! I marked 3 eggs and left them, so I'll see if they hatch.

On the running side, my yoga/pilates and step aerobics instructor might actually run with me in the race on July 10. I'm waiting for her to actually sign up for it before I believe her! She asked if I want to run with her and a group on Saturday morning - and I'm screaming YES YES! in my mind, while trying to play it cool! Sure, that'd be great! It's a long weekend, so it perfect because I don't have to work. Other than in a race, I've never run with someone else.

The kids are off school on Friday & Monday, so I'm taking them swimming tomorrow at the leisure centre which has a wave pool, water slide, indoor park, and a splash park. It's fun, but I get tired after 3 hours or so!

I started planting the garden today. Put in peas, 2 types of carrots, oriental long beans, swiss chard and burgundy beans.
