I've found robin and killdeer eggs on my property, but yesterday was the first time I've ever come across chicken eggs!

I just think this is so cool! I've always wanted chickens, but didn't want the work of building a coop. Might have to build one now if some of the eggs actually hatch (or give them back to the neighbour, since they do actually belong to them...)

The hen would come back once in a while and sit on them. But the neighbours must not have liked losing so many eggs to me, and are now keeping them penned. No little chicks for me I guess.

Chickens make good pets but then you won't want to eat them--also you are eating their future children--is that a form of abortion? Is this a moral dilemma? Does your neighbor know what a burden she has placed on your place?
