Okay, come on, continue the story!! You write so beautifully that I think you could get a book out of this blog. Seriously. Consider it.
I'm not quite as out of it as you are, but I still rarely go to movies - I wait until I can get them free from the library - and I might know a few more of the Top of the Charts artists than you do, but I don't have much interest in them. Unless the song has a fast beat that good for running to!
Holy crow!
The weather here is perfect! Cool at night, hot late afternoon & evening. Peas & green beans have given up, swiss chard, carrots, beets & squash are doing amazing! Not sure yet if I'll get many tomatoes.
You are a regular in the papers, aren't you? I might have my picture in the local paper, but the library director has to catch me and the other woman at work who is going to run in the race next Sunday and take our picture together.
growing older sucks.
Fill the bottom with water, put some sort of fruit or berries in the top, clamp off the hose (or put a pot under the end of the hose), and the middle pan will collect the yummy juice. Don't let it boil dry, and empty and wash it before the fruit dries or you will regret it! Works especially well with apples - after juicing, run the apple pulp through a fruit strainer (such as a Victorio strainer) to get applesauce.
I'm crunchy. I see those California labels in Canada?!
It's good to just look to see what is out there. You might find things that make your life easier, or solve a household problem that you have. Or is so pretty that you just need it.
