well, you do need a few depending on what colour mood your are in that day...
i still envy your adventures!
OMG, going to Fabricland is painful. Even when the store has good parking. So expensive, so many pretty fabrics, such long lines at the fabric cutting tables and check out.
Have fun on your trip! Now that it is spring, we have been getting snow! It melts within a day or two at least.
I haven't heard of that book. Have you read "The China Study"? It scares me. I'm leaning more and more over to vegetarian/vegan.
My Fri the 13th had my brand new vehicle lose power once I got on the highway!! Fairly quite secondary highway, but scary anyway. Spent 4 hours at dealership, at least it was a warranty fix.
Ah, you don't know what you are missing in the hand-held device category. They are cool. Now, after saying that, I don't have one (well, a Blackberry and an iPod Nano... and two Nintendo DS that the kids have outgrown...), BUT no eReader or tablet... I still prefer real books over eReaders and I take "breaks" from the Blackberry - sometimes just for the evening, or even for several days. Doing a 10k race this Sunday (going for sub 55 minutes) and half marathon in 4.5 weeks! My feet hurt.
I can't wait to see it! In the books, you don't get much background on the other tributes. And yes, the later books get more into the political/socio-economic themes. And that romance/love triangle is always hanging in the air....
Sorry.
Cool way to spend your birthday!!
Oh pretty!!
I think 8 people is a good size group! Your spinning wheel is going to look amazing when you are done.
