DH took two days off in June so far. One because I'll be on the overnight field trip and someone needs to be there for DD, and the other because DD's class is having a pancake breakfast and kite building and flying for Father's Day.

Hmmm, for Mother's Day, the mothers had to bring their own food, how come the fathers don't??

Anyway, I ran the idea past DH first, for his gift, I'm registering both of us in a 5k run. It's not until August, but it's the Energizer Night Race. You get a reflective night running shirt and an Energizer headlamp (which you must wear during the race) for your entry fee.

The run goes through the park along a lake, at starts at 9pm - sunset. There is also a 10k run, but I checked the route, and the 10k is just doing the 5k route twice. BORING!

I'm looking forward to this run! Hopefully DH can keep from pissing me off. He seems to do that everytime he opens his mouth. :P
