Some changes in the animals around my house.

1. Missing one cat. A boy, at least not the one female left that I spayed.

2. Picked up a new male outdoor kitten from the neighbours. It's white with orange ears and orange striped tail. It has some siamese blood in it. It's cute as all heck and is driving me crazy. It cries and claws and wants to climb up to your face and then claw you! Uggh! But still fun to have hanging around when I'm doing outdoor chores and I kept making it follow me from the pasture to pick up compost to the far side of the yard to deposit it! I keep getting the poor thing all muddy.

3. One of my two cockatiels died. I've been expecting him to die for about 3 years now, but it still seemed sudden. He wasn't acting any sicker than usual. The remaining cockatiel is coping better than I imagined. He used to freak out if the other was out of sight. But he's gone mostly blind, so either doesn't know his pal died, or he does know and accepted it. :(

Three animal changes is good. Stop here, no more please! Unless of course that perfect dog comes into my life! :)
