DD had the fever and seizure on Sunday/Monday, and now DS has the fever - 39.4 at 4pm. At least he would take Tylenol, and his temp dropped to 37.1 by 8pm so it looks like he will be okay.

We are so shorted staffed at work that some new people are actually going to be hired! Yeah!

One eruption that I didn't have to witness was the Director - apparently something about will the new hires get paid more than the current staff... She was mad that someone would even think she would do that to us... anyway, since the two trouble makers/game players are out of the picture at the moment, it's WTF? NOW who is spreading this crap and upsetting the management??? Or is Ms. Game Player doing this from home (on "sick" leave for a sore back).

The weather last night and today was beautiful! It stayed about 16c all night, and got to 29c late afternoon! But very dry. We had several very cold nights with light frost last week - my squash plants were all damaged. Got tons of zucchini and spaghetti squash this year.

I'm over $200 in eBay sales so far - that's total $ received, not profits - there are shipping costs and fees coming out of that. I've made some sort of profit off everything I bought to resell.

My run on Sunday went well. I had the most horrible anxiety the night before and hardly slept! I had to force myself to eat breakfast. It was terrible! The morning was very cold, and I stripped down to a tank top and running capris, and some guy runner was so concerned about me that he offered me his shirt! LOL! I was shaking with cold by time we started, but I was dressed just right once I was running. The race was 11.4k, and I ran it in 1:02:and some seconds. I hoped to be under 1 hour, so that's my big goal again for next year.

I think a guy hit on me today. I ate lunch on a bench on the lakefront (I worked today), and a dog walker's two dogs came running over to me, sniffing at the pear I was eating. The guy said I think I've seen you here before, wearing sunglasses, and some other stuff. I was more interested in his dogs. I liked his dogs. :) I dashed back into the library when I saw him coming back from their walk, but his dogs were faster than me, and I had to push them back from going in the door with me! LOL! Bring your dogs back to visit me (no, I didn't say that!) I escaped into the library before he could talk to me more.
