I have met the nicest people on Blogster! Saturday brought a wonderful surprise - a Wine Country Gift Basket full of Valentine candies and cookies and chocolaty treats! It was from Mrs. Troutbend, Laura.



There are two kinds of cookies, dark chocolate covered graham crackers and pretzels, Chocolates with caramel fillings, chocolates with a crushed almond coating, even some Cappucino flavored ones that really do taste like coffee! I think I'm going to gain 20 pounds but I'm enjoying every bite! There are several brands: Ghiradelli Chocolate Co., Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Lindt and some others too!

I called her right away and thanked her. She said she was just writing me an email to tell me to check outside my front door for a package. I guess it had been there since Friday but it was too cold to go outside that day. My dogs had barked at something but I ignored them because they bark at squirrels across the street. I had never heard her voice before but I thought it would be warm and friendly and it was.

Laura must have been busy last week - she sent a package of yummies to Sue, aka Skyeblue, also.
