I'm pretty sure Eddie has been on since the election so he must be busy with other things. I'm with Steve though, would be nice to have him clean out the nonsense. Love the story about Scratch! Akiko, my late Siamese, used to play with the pulls on the stained glass floor lamps in my great room. Of course we had to have one of the shades repaired more than once after they crashed. Loved her anyway.
You're doing better with her than I did with Cassie at first. I'd say she likes you if she's coming to you in bed. Something about other parts of the house or you being upright is bothering her - she's not afraid of you. Don't give up, just be patient. It took Cassie a couple of years to come to me and even now, after 8+ years, she still doesn't always come when I call. Just give her as much attention as she will accept, when she will accept it.
Good song for the occasion and other times too.
Great perspective!
Is a caravan park for RV's, such as fifth wheels and motor homes? Your travels sound interesting - it's good to get away. And like the others, I'm looking forward to photos.
I had an 8-track player in my VW minibus. Thinking about it sure brings back a lot of memories. I still have an electric typewriter, too - I bought it in the late 80's or early 90's.
Since Brent told you he thought you were pushy, you know what he wants. I was always the same way - jump in with both feet and I ended up pushing men away. On the other hand, he is really good looking and sounds like a great guy. I'd have a hard time sitting back, too.
Very cute! When is the baby due?
At first I thought maybe she had cellulitis, which is a very serious skin infection. But if the tests were negative for bacteria, maybe it was an allergic reaction to something. The steroids will stop the reaction unless it's something she is in contact with a lot - meds or laundry soap etc. Did they say to follow up with her own doc? You did the right thing to take her. My mother has Alzheimer's and never wants to go to the ER but she's not the best judge of her needs anymore. It sounds like your grandma needs help with those decisions too.
I love that show too!
I assume you must have her now? She looks very alert in the photo. I'm sure she'll warm up to you - just give her time. My Cassie was so shy when I first got her that she hid from me and wouldn't let me look at her. She came from a hoarder - and was one of 40 dogs. Now, she doesn't want me out of her sight and wants to cuddle all the time.
Ruby is a very pretty girl - you're really going to love her! I call Cassie my "long and low girl" because she's a Cocker-Dachshund mix. I love her to pieces - she is a real cuddler and even at 17, very playful and silly.
I guess this means pennies really would have to come from heaven...
