Today was shopping for supplies for the new dog who soon I hope will be joining us.
Got the crate,chew toys,pillow ,dog food etc.
Mike will be taking her home tomorrow if all goes well.
He is excited by all of this.
Well,how about me?I am glad for his as I will be soon leaving this world of ours in the next ten years or so.
I want him to have a companion so that he will not be alone.
Ruby should be or hope to be a good one.
I know that this sounds morbid but one have to face it as life goes on.
Okay,away from this and the future.
Today we had a bit of an uprising in temperature but still cold.
Yes Martin,I know the temp there is great.But this is NH and not Florida.
So enjoy your wonderful weather and leave the rest to us.LOL.
Temp will be reaching to the fifties on Wed and then a downturn for the weekend.
Ha!my man Martin we are going to see Chorus Line on the 8th of Feb.
I know you have us beaten by how many times that we saw this.
I am looking forward to this.

Today was a crystal clear day with full sun.
Did you all get to see the Wolf Moon.
man!I was howling all night.Whoa!!!!!!!
I know a lot of this does not making any sense to some of you.
Just wanted to keep in touch.

I assume you must have her now? She looks very alert in the photo. I'm sure she'll warm up to you - just give her time. My Cassie was so shy when I first got her that she hid from me and wouldn't let me look at her. She came from a hoarder - and was one of 40 dogs. Now, she doesn't want me out of her sight and wants to cuddle all the time.

she is doing better and not quite done with me.she will come around while in bed.
Give her a belly rub and some licking and behind the ears.But out of bed not quite ready to take her out on my own.Mike still has to do this.Have a good story on this but later.

You're probably right about her experiencing abuse in her past, but its amazing how quickly a dog learns to trust again. She'll come around!

we will see.Right now she is Mike's dog and slowly ,very slowly coming to me.
This will take time and believe that she had some abuse there but not sure.
Of course they never tell you.

I think the dog is adorable, and there will be no question that the new home will be a wonderful, loving one. Congrats on the new family member!
