Oh how sad. Is Utah one of the states where helmets are optional?
And then the Brits eat "bangers" which are, um, sausages!
Beautiful post! I could feel the spray from the ocean and smell the fresh air right along with you. Sounds like jjoohhnn was talking about Mindfulness. It's a Buddhist practice that reminds me of the "Be Here Now" thing that was popular in the 70s. Essentially, it means to do one thing in the moment and focus on it totally. Google it and you can find out more. There are podcasts about it in iTunes, too.
Ayuh! I'll drink to that.
Love it! Thanks for the memories!
Stories like this almost make me miss my days doing social work. Well, maybe not so much, after all.
What a beautiful bird. I really have to get out west to see the birds and wild flowers there. Just today I watched two robins bathing in one of my bird baths! It was a rare treat, as they usually only drink the water when I'm watching. Great photos Steve.
So glad to hear that Rex is on the mend. That had to be awful when you saw him so sick. I love meatloaf. My mom used to make it with three kinds of ground meat and it was very good. I have the recipe if you're interested in it for something different. Coconut cream pie? I love any kind of cream pie! Ted's very a lucky man.
I laughed so hard I almost sprayed coke all over my monitor! Good one Cindy.
So, one could ask if you were you "pubically humiliated?"
Pay no attention to the man in the white coat, Bugg.
Poor Rex! Give him a hug and kisses from me.
I wonder if you'd sprayed your finger with Pam ahead of time if that would have made any difference in the appearance? I've tried it and realized that I'm not good at it. I'm no good at plaster or drywall repairs either. No matter how careful I am, it looks like the wall has cellulite!
Oh, boy does that salad ever sound good! I had a great salad for lunch at Panera Bread. Took my mom out for Mother's Day and it was nice. Our salads had LOTS of different greens and veggies in it. It's a perfect day today here- mid 70s and the sun is shining!
