Wish List

It's like a bridal registry.

A knitter could make this for me - pattern available.

A non-knitter can purchase this scarf and matching mittens at Urban Outfitters.

I've never tried the different flavored sea salts, so this assortment from Cost Plus.

I would share this spread with the whole family. We would dip cookies in it and put some in a dish with nuts then eat them with a spoon.

This smoking platform is available from Sur la Table.

Plenty of time to order these before midnight tonight and have them shipped here free. Or get in touch with Santa and he'll leave it on the porch when he's in the neighborhood. The house next door has a sign out "Santa Stop Here," and the houses are so close together here, he won't mind at all. He told me, so you don't need to call and ask him.

Is that a hint?
comment by nittineedles on Dec 17, 2011 12:37 PM ()
A big, huge hint, and did you notice nobody has taken it seriously? I was simply amazed to see that Urban Outfitters is selling that fox boa, I didn't realize the urbans would think it was desirable.

Well, I am busy gratifying Ashley's wish for more white chocolate and
peppermint. But if you drop in, we have gobs of dip and cookies and snacks.

A hot dip, a cold dip, crackers, and wine sounds good, doesn't it?

We'll have to see what Santa brings.

Yes, the dark chocolate looks yummy. Fortunately, I made very rich brownies the other day.

I'm thinking the fox scarf at Urban Outfitters will be in their markdown area after the holiday.

I have some salt mined from Utah, real rock salt, not that I think it has any special flavor. When that runs out, I'm going to get some of those other salts just to see if it makes a difference. We'll have to sprinkle them on eggs and see if we can tell.

I like the looks of that leg of lamb.

We certainly have different wish lists!!! (Except maybe the dark chocolate spread)
comment by greatmartin on Dec 16, 2011 5:28 PM ()
But I'll bet if you were at my house and I smoked a roast on that smoker thing and seasoned it with a little bit of one of those salts, you wouldn't turn it down.
reply by troutbend on Dec 17, 2011 9:38 AM ()
I could eat that chocolate out of the jar with a spoon, although the nut addition would be good too. Then I would lick the dish.

And dark chocolate is good for us.
