Our Other Cat, Chitty

I know, you're going to laugh and say 'told you so.'

We have been letting the neighborhood cat come inside the house, and we feed her, and sometimes she stays far into the night. She'll wake us up at 5 am to go out.

We think her home is right behind us, the house with the yappy pekingnese and German shepard that chases its own tail and barks a lot. No wonder she likes it over here where she can try to intimidate Eloise, even though she's not successful at it.

Chitty looks good in her winter coat. She wasn't so cute during the summer when her coat was scragglier. Regardless of the season, her tail is always a little bit pathetic.

That's how they get you... by being so darn cute! That being said, all of our favorite cats found US, instead of the other way around.

I'm thinking he needs to take her door to door and ask the various neighbors if she is theirs, and how much do they like her. Since I left there with our other cat, she has been in the house almost full time.

It's an armed truce around here. If Chitty starts napping in one of Eloise's spots, Eloise finds a new one, but she's running out of different places to sleep. I don't think they'll ever nap together like your kitties do.

Only chitty i know of goes----chitty chitty bang bang --Those cats can be clever but adorable

Our Eloise will shake for treats, but we have to let her sniff the treat first because she won't shake for the kind she doesn't like.

Another beautiful kitty.

I like her shorter fur. Eloise's is so long and sheds in clumps. They look so much alike, when I hear a cat eating and look over to see who it is, I look for the face because Eloise's is symmetrical and prettier and Chitty's has more character.

She is adorable, she needs to move in permanently.

She is the softest kitty, it's a joy to pick her up. Maybe she has conned the neighbors into feeding her, and she isn't their cat, either.

And smart enough to get up early to go home and have breakfast!!!

Wonderful life: if she doesn't like what they feed her at home, she can come over here. And we give her catnip.

She's pretty cute. Her name is Chitty? Check with Jondude about how to deal with cats that take over your house.

We'll have to eavesdrop on the neighbors over the fence to see if we can hear them calling her and find out her name. Chitty has a scatological origin: there was a Canadian TV show "Trailer Park Boys" and the trailer park manager called cats S#@t Rats. Before Chitty started to be nice to us, she was just a pest, taunting Eloise through the patio door, so we called her that. When she became our friend it didn't seem right, so we decided Chitty would work.

Yes, he does have nice legs. He's one of those people with good natural muscle definition, and a very good athlete.
