Were There Really 24 Hours in Today?

If time really does fly when your having fun, then I must really be loving my new job. Well, who am I kidding ... I do really like my new job. I really like the variety of my days. I end up doing all sorts of things ... I never really know how the day is going to play out, and that is a good thing.

Today was a day where I was working with printers. I had to install a new label printer, and then, I got to start sorting out the problem we were having with IP addresses relating to some of our printers. It included reinstalling one of our networked computers, too. I know ... this part is probably boring you to tears....

I did get one of the nicest compliments from one of my new co-workers. She was introducing me to a gentleman who had worked at the library a few years back, and she said something about how it was such a pleasure to have me around because I was always filled with smiles and upbeat. I guess that was a bit ironic when considering my last post. It did make me feel really good.

I had a nice relaxing evening once I got home. Ray took care of making dinner so I was able to take in the news. Now, I am vegging out with an episode of Insepector Lewis, one of the British series highlighted by Masterpiece Mystery!. Some of you might recognize him because he used to be the sidekick for Inspector Morse until he got his own spin-off series. There pretty good mysteries.

The rest of the week should prove interesting. I have meetings for work tomorrow and Thursday, class tomorrow night and Saturday morning, and a meeting for one of my boards on Thursday night. On Sunday, I get to start my Sunday afternoon shifts working at my old library. I am thinking the rest of the week will fly just as quicklyThere is no moss growing on this stone.

If you think time flies when you have fun wait until you retire!!!!

Glad you are enjoying the job--do you still work with kids?

I really don't get to the work with the public directly as much as I used to. That includes the kids. I am hoping that will change a bit as I get settled into things. I am still training up on a lot of things.
