Dudley doesn't seem to care about boxes either.

One of our cats used to get onto the bed when we were making it and end up made into the bed. I miss that, and the box games, but Eloise will probably develop her own routines as she gets older.

I don't know what we'd do without our animal friends.

I have a photo of a former kitty. He was a big cat and the people who stole him from us were feeding him mashed sweet potatoes so he was fat too. In the photo he is crammed in a big chip box; head sticking out the top, tail sticking out the bottom and furry belly bulging out the cutout on the side. Oh, how I wish I could post it to my blog.

I've been having success with photos if I don't try to upload multiple images at one time. You could email it to me, and I'll post it. (I'll steam open the card I'm mailing to you and write the address in there.)

When I get a package on the porch the cats rush to watch me open it, and can't wait until it is on the floor and ready for them to use as their newest toy!

I often try to picture how it must be at your house with that gang of cats. Your days must be so bright.

They are all so relaxed and so cute, a human would never dare take the
boxes away.

I'm so jealous - would love to sleep that deeply. And be that flexible.

One of our cats is constantly climbing into boxes and bags. She crawled into one the other day which Hubby closed up and put a pillow over the top. She never complained! Just stayed in there till it was time to eat. It's cold in our house, so I'm sure she was just trying to stay warm.

We still have a big vacuum cleaner box under the pinball machine that was our dear departed Buddy's cave. This new cat doesn't seem to care about bags or boxes at all, the first cat I've ever seen who was immune to the siren call. Maybe it's because she is so young.

The last one looks staged, but I assume it isn't! Some day I'll have to post a picture of Buster when he's up to his hind quarter in an empty dog food bag!

Yeah, I wondered about that last one, too. Now I have to go try to thread my box-phobic cat into a butter box just to see if it's possible. Cat abuse alert, good thing she has a short memory.

how did you get them to pose ------------looking good
comment by kevinshere on Dec 15, 2012 10:18 PM ()
Not my cats, someone sent me these in an email. That's not posing, that's the way cats do.

Like kids who don't care about the presents--only the boxes they come in!
comment by greatmartin on Dec 15, 2012 7:42 PM ()
Our new cat hasn't developed the box addiction yet, maybe she never will.
