It is obvious you don't know how to relax. I could never do what you do, but, then, maybe I could if it was really important. I was a whirlwind when I was dealing with medical issues for Jay. But I was also younger. I said I would participate in a Nielsen study about radio listening and I'm sorry because it's more paper. They gave me a dollar and another dollar for Ed, if he chooses to fill out his part of it. But two dollars! Wow! Ed muttered darkly that I would probably keep his dollar. Yes.

I have always thought I would live a long life because my mom was 92 when she died and only because she didn't take her insulin (it's an old country thing - if you feel okay, you don't need medication) and she was mentally sharp to the end. Also, she didn't do exercises as I do, so her genes were remarkable. But I have slowed down and I am always researching supplements to help with things like arthritis pain in my hands, and my troublesome back. I do everything anyway, just slower.

Ed and I don't contribute to anyone on the phone. If we answer such a call, we just say so. Because I have contributed to animal rights groups and to political candidates, I am now on everyone's list (they share). Usually the readout says "out of area". I don't pick up and I get(because it's the countdown to 2016) at least 3 such calls a day at all hours. I figure if it's important, they will leave a message. They never do. This ramp-up at such a high volume has escalated. Maybe this heavy push gets results for them. But what it has done to me, is I refuse now all donations. I contribute once to about three groups. After that, leave me alone please.

Will have to check labels for Xylitol. But have cut out all foods with artificial sweetener anyway. It's a jungle out there.

Yes time in older life truncates -- every 10 minutes it's Christmas. Ambitious housecleaning has become a very sometime thing. I tend to get sick when I try. Also, I'd like to clean out two huge concrete urns that contain, now, weeds, and put in new soil and plants that won't die. But that is a major effort so it isn't getting done.

Kiss Rex for me.

I hate the time changes too but I would prefer to stay on daylight savings as the standard. I like light in the afternoon and early evening. Don't much care if it stays dark in the morning.

I have an ASPCA calendar and National Cat Day is not on it. They're gonna hear from me. Eloise looks adorable -- Queen of her space.

I think it looks great -- I don't mind the graphics at all. Enjoy it. (Also it is unique and you'll be able to find it in the mall.)

Rex is endearing. Max, my manx cat, is a spoiled brat and he'll harass you for something and when you try to give him what he wants, he goes around in circles so you don't know what to give him. Then he'll bat my leg.

I fed tame deer in England once. I didn't know they could be aggressive. The ones you saw were apparently not a real threat.

I'd buy it. Treads are not that awful -- not like a cartoon character. Incidentally, Ed just had our 2001 Isuzu repainted. Pricey. But it looks new. He can't let go, so he painted it. It rides good. And now he's driving it and I have the Hyundai all to myself. Hey.

The long goodbye is draining but gives you the chance to be with him and give him your love. I am sure it sustains him. He sounds very brave. You and your family are in my thoughts.

I am sorry overuse has ruined awesome because sometmes it fits. More annoying is the constant, "S'okay, I mean, you know," making up most of any converstion. I miss your fox and also your goose. Great they were. Did you ever find out if Goose survived the flood?

Well that was a trip down memory lane ... he recalled expressions that were in vogue going back to the 20s and perhaps earlier. Actually I may still use some of them ... and I had a Mickey Mouse wristwatch. (It didn't keep time very well.)

What a great day ... Ed and I used to have outings, but he is so overwhelmed now with guardian duties that he makes no time to relax. He doesn't know how to be retired. And, of course, he is struggling with energy since his heart surgery, and what he has he devotes to his wards. It's good I am self-sustaining.
