I'm, so far, the energizer bunny who drums on while my dear ones go. And Ed is younger than me but has issues that could do him in. And today he left without his cell phone and that drives me up the wall.

I am sickened by his presidency and I foresaw it on election night. I was well aware of his incompetence and corruption when I lived in New York. We must prevail in the election.

Your patience is much appreciated. What a little martinet her daughter is. The nice thing about Florida store people is how helpful and nice they are. In New York City, not so much. It doesn't make up for brain dead political choices, but it' boggles my northern mind when one drops everything to be sure I'm getting what I need.

Edge perception is my problem too. I've finally gotten better at judging. I drive a 2009 Hyundai. Ed has a 2017 Toyota Highlander I am not allowed to drive. That's okay. I pronounce you man and car. Anyway, the electronics on new cars are daunting.

I had to cut Ed's hair -- trust me shaggy in the older population is a no. I cut my own hair. When Ed was in rehab, a lovely woman came in and cut the hair of the residents. She did a great job. I got her number, thinking I would try her since she also works out of her home. That's all on hold now.
and then this virus thing hit.

When you have a neighbor with such poor impulse control, it is best not to tempt her into aberrant behavior. You could, however, keep a record of her harassment as a backstop should you ever need a legal defense.

At least you had a quick result. Some being tested are waiting for days. My best to you both.

I mostly order from Amazon and I do check reviews, but I have also read that positive reviews can be untrustworthy. I use my New York Times Credit Union Visa for all internet orders -- that way I have only one card to deal with if there is a problem. They are super about looking into a dispute and have always, so far, ruled in my favor. Love these people.

In Florida pool owners are required to enclose their pool area with cages. There are two doors in and out and a mansard roof overhead. When our cats found a hole in one of the panels, they widened it and slipped in and out until I finally saw it. Recently one of our upper panel screens got torn half way off. I didn't let my cats out for four days waiting for the screen guy because I know all about high flying cats.

I am grateful we don't have any animal lunatics. We have lots of dog walkers. My neighbor has a cat and I occasionally see him and I worry about him. She really shouldn't let him out because he could get run over. My two cats have a pool deck/area for their outside recreation. They reach it by a pet door that I seal off every night. Recently a hole in the pool cage that I didn't see allowed them to run free. I freaked out when I realized what was happening. We've had that fixed. Down by the main road, people have been known to abduct animals running loose. (P.S. Welcome back -- you haven't posted in quite a while.)

My friend Nadine dropped off two more masks that she made for us. I don't sew. Our dearest friend, Jean, has the virus and finally went to the hospital. I'm glad they had room for her. But hospitals aren't allowing visitors. We are very worried about her. She considers me her surrogate mom.

Tough love is one thing, but not paying attention to new information, like giving his dog away (red flag! red flag!) blows my mind.I'm sure your kind attention will be comforting.Be well.

if think there is fake news being put out by the main stream media (CBS, ABC, NBC, etc.) ask yourself why Trump doesn't sue. If he's right and it's fake news, he could win a large settlement. Why doesn't sue instead of just ranting like a 2-year-old? Because you can't sue facts and he would lose in court. You can trust the main stream media. I worked in the field for 30 years. I saw the efforts to keep everything squeaky clean. If it's wrong, a retraction. Don't be taken in by the Orange Fat.
