There is a lady who comes to see me on a regular basis and during the summer she brought peppers, knowing I love spicy hot food; she has also given me pickles she made, etc. A good hearted person.
A few weeks ago she was looking at a magnolia I painted. She has her house done up in magnolia decor; so I planned to give it to her for Christmas. First though, I had to get out the watercolors and add two leaves to balance it out. While I was at it, I worked on another watercolor of two magnolias, a still life with a lamp in the middle, which I plan to give to a guy in town who is always kind and helpful.
I repainted the leaves on both of them, and enhanced the magnolias with color. They look really good. Then I had to dig through my supply of frames and get them framed. I started out early, thinking it wouldn't take long. Now most of the day has passed and the laundry and bath and cooking hasn't been done. Well, tomorrow is another day, as Scarlet O'Hara said. susil
