Aside from feeling time shifted because of the end of "daylight savings" time on Sunday, the weekend seemed to breeze past.
I finally made it back to Kempo class Saturday morning. For one reason or another, mostly due to my strained wrist from the last time I went, a week ago, I haven't been going in that time. We didn't practice the twisting type of breakaway from a wrist grab that tweaked my wrist, so that was good.
The thing I don't like about the class is that it's two hours long. On Saturday, it's not a big deal, but on weekday evenings, it seems like a long class.
One main reason the weekend went by so quickly was that I was working. The remote login foolishness wasn't so bad and I was able to make some progress. I think this week won't be quite so busy because of that. As the schedule stands now, I'm going to be traveling much of November and have a lot to get ready.
Halloween night I was home staffing the door and Dolly took Kitty and another girl out in the neighborhood. That's when I started making good progress on work stuff. That girl spent the night, but that was uneventful because they were both tired.
I'm thinking about getting a weight bench or a Bowflex, but so far I'm not throwing around that much weight on the dumbbells, so I have time to think about that.
The last week or so I have been making notes of questions to ask my rheumatologist when I see him this week. A lot of things I don't know and perhaps he does.
It rained most of the weekend, so our rain barrels are full. Perhaps we will have some dry weather before the winter wet sticks around so we can use up some of that water before spring.
