I was curious about the numbers, so I looked at each of blogs in the current list of "new articles" here on mybloggers after reading nittineedles post about the number of reads she has had.
When I looked at the ratio of number of reads to number of posts for those 42 blogs, hers was as outlier at nearly 400. The average for everyone else (i.e., not counting hers) was about 23, with a range of about 10 to 45, standard deviation ~9. Mine was ~11.
No wonder she's listed as The most popular blogger on mybloggers. Knitting is apparently VERY popular.
