Communication 20081029

This afternoon at work I was meeting with my "boss". When I was about to leave, her boss came in and wanted to talk with us. My "boss" is a bit manipulative and was putting words into my mouth, as the saying goes.

When I told Dolly about the afternoon, my impression from her reaction was that I didn't handle it the way I was supposed to.

Apparently I'm not allowed to have my own thoughts about things related to work either.

This would be a rant.

No, I actually *don't* read your blog. I just skim through the paragraphs and then read the comments to figure out what I'm supposed to say.

But in all honesty, why does anyone need to acknowledge your feelings or thoughts in order for you to have them? I undertstand the desire to be validated...everyone does to some degree...but nobody should be dependent on another's validation.

There I go again.
