When my girls were small and we lived in Orlando, Florida, we would take mini-vacations to St. Augustine, America's oldest city. Just south of the city is a beautiful beach along Highway A1A where you can pick up pieces of coquina rock from which the Spanish, back in the 17th Century, built the Castillo de San Marcos, the fort in St. Augustine.
The photo above is of my daughter Devlyn, who now lives in Savannah, Georgia, and brought her daughter Olivia (Livy) to see that beach. Livy is 18 mo. old and the rising sun behind her symbolizes her bright future.
Isn't she gorgeous??!!!!!
