Perhaps I should change my mybloggers moniker to Zombie. For one, I'm no longer living "solitiare". Secondly, after all the football games I've watched, I've turned into a zombie.
Without my computer for the past 6 days, I've exercised a wee bit more and read a lot more. Can't do much outdoors with the cold snap and icy conditions. But, as you can tell, I'm up and running again. Cost was only $50 to become virus free and a new AVG installed. How do those geeks do it and I can't? (I use the term "geeks" with all due respect!)
Thanks for your responses to my previous post. I'm choosing to reply here to one and all.
No changes in the roofing or septic situations. No word from either. But I'm ok. Clothes can be washed at my father's.
Spent New Years Eve at my neighbors. Sister Barbara made a vegan pizza to take. Then we played dominos, a version of which I was unfamiliar. I only knew the old "multiples of five" game. They had never heard of it. Have you?
Driving 45 minutes to my daughter's this afternoon to see the infant grandson. And to watch the Colts--subs and all.
Is it just me--am I being super critical (elitist?)--or are the singers that do the National Anthem before the ballgames the most pathetic musicians/entertainers ever to be on stage? I can't stand to listen to them butcher the Star Spangled Banner. Rather sickening. Now the Dave Brubeck tribute (on the Kennedy Center Honors show) really blew me away. It's a shame we've become a nation of American Idol (et.al.) lovers. That's another story.
I'll be catching up with all of you tomorrow, hopefully. Stay warm.
