Here's all my news in a nutshell--maybe.
Since my AVG anti-virus protector is not working, and I can't seem to delete it in order to reactivate another, I may be out of business for awhile. I keep getting warnings. Looks like I'll be taking my computer into the experts to have them fix the problem.

Another piece of bad news is my roofing situation. I'm not happy about still seeing daylight through my roof. They charged me for 9 hours of work at $40 per hour. No way. 6 at most, including drive time. So I'm not paying them until they finish the job. Irritating.

We still have no septic system. When will they start? Pretty soon, the ground will be frozen, then what. Wait 'til Spring?
I worried all day yesterday that my current drainage would back up. That's when we had seven adults here, all flushing toilets every 15 minutes. Luckily, nothing happened.

The Christmas dinner gathering went well. My live-in sister prepared the whole thing. I just sat back and let her get all the glory. She loves that attention. Further, she didn't eat a bite of anything she cooked. She's diabetic and a vegan, and that's her excuse. Besides, she enjoys the martyrdom. I ignore her. She was constantly asking us, "How's the _____?"
It feeds her ego, I guess. But it was delicious, so I humor her. She and her twin sister hardly spoke to one another for one reason or another. Otherwise, everything went according to plan.
My new grandson slept all afternoon, so I hardly got to participate in his life.

I'm getting warned big time about a threat to the computer, so I better quit. It may be some time before I will be back on.
