Your running story reminded me why I've quit doing it outdoors in the winter. It's all in my basement now--walking/trotting in circles, boxing, lifting barbells. No more clothe "layering", cold, wind, snow, etc. to deal with. Plus, I can listen to classical music all the while!
You gotta go south of Louisville to see "bluegrass". 4 hours away from my house! Ever notice hardly nobody else looks out the plane window?

I don't know about the last part, but I try to be prepared for "disasters". My downspout water barrels saved my garden during this summer's drought.

There is indeed a silver lining! If only all the money spent by rich Reps. would have been spent elsewhere. And they're the ones fighting higher tax rates. Crazy.
