Can't beat a Motel6 ! Time for slippers, a hot totty, and a good movie.
A very touching and marvelous tribute. Again, my condolences. I'm sorry I didn't make the effort to stop and see the two of you when I passed nearby last year while driving through Connecticut.
Being the angel I am, I have no clue as to what you're talking about.
At least you can say your state voted "correctly". More than I can say for mine. To avoid going through Indiana, let's say from Cleveland to Chicago, you'd have to go through KY or way north and around L. Michigan!
All I can say is "Whew!"
Although I never ate them, I know you can't make them at home! I'm betting someone will take them over--if the price is right.
I think you should reconsider your analysis. You know the old adage about quitting running because you're getting old (vs. the reverse). Look at me--it took retirement for me to start living. Now, if I can just find that cute 28 year old!
As they say, feeling are neither right or wrong. You simply need less stress in your life. Yoga?
(Two posts in one day?!!) We surprised my father on his 90th. No heart attack. Is the honoree married? Hmmm. Have fun!!
I feel guilty only giving to the Red Cross. Looks like our president is stepping in with more assistance. Sounds like a great group you have up your way.
1) Don't like tapioca pudding. 2) Squirrels? I've heard of 'possums and carp "recipes". 3)Spaghetti was our "kids" supper the other night. 4) Right on for the last 3 items on your list!!
Interesting. Hasn't happened to me--yet.
I think you covered all the bases with one great post! All I can say is "AMEN" sister! Further, being all of 6 weeks younger than you, I can concur with your reminisces.
My sisters (twins) are thataway, more or less. They certainly don't see eye to eye, and are barely civil to one another. Of course, I'm in the middle and hear both sides!
Love 'em! I have no more wall space. And my daughter brought me a painting from Honduras.
