My sister (name, Barbara) bought a card from the Boy Scouts in Virginia for 20 purchases at Dominoes Pizza-- buy one, get one free (large). The deal expires Dec. 2010.

So last night, at my Dad's house, we tried it. One large pepperoni, one half sausage half veggie. I was taken aback when I went to pick them up and was informed that one large, one topping pizza cost over $17. Wow! Really?, I said. For one? Guess I'm out of touch with pizza prices nowadays.

My father didn't offer to help pay for it, and Barbara is a vegan (and didn't eat a bite), so it became "my treat". What my dad and I didn't eat, he kept as leftovers. I didn't really care for the pizza that much. We also had a salad and chocolate pie my sister made.

I doubt if we use her card even one more time this year, let alone 19! I prefer the $4.99 all you can eat lunch buffet at Pizza Hut. Now that's more like it!!
