I Need Your Opinions

OK people out in MyBloggers I need your honest opinions..

Since I am pregnant my husband would like for me to take a leave of absence from work until the new baby is 8 weeks old.

I would like to keep working because I love my job and the money is great.

I am civil service so they can't fire me, so this is a plus.

My boss and I were talking and he told me that I could work part-time and come in a couple days a week and still get my full salary, but if I were to take a leave of absence I would only get half my pay.

I would like to spend this time with Michelle and have some serious bonding time with her before the new baby arrives.

Paul told me whatever I decide is fine with him.

What do you all think I should do?

I'd say if you can full pay and work part-time that would be the way to go. I think you're the type of person that if your not doing something you're going to get bored, even if you are spending it Michelle. It'll also keep you in the swing of things when comes the time when you back to work

Is there any way you could accomplish your part time work on your home computer?

Well... Unless your health is in immediate danger i.e Blood pressure probs, heart disease, swelling of the ankles and hands (Pre-eclampsia)or any other condition that could pose a threat to you or the baby I can't see any reason why you can't continue to work.
From what I can see you want to be in work and at home to help the bonding process, maybe you could work as often as you like but maybe leave 'earlier' under the circumstances then everyones happy. Just a thought! Good luck in what ever you decide

The part time thing sounds great. You would get the best of both worlds.

I think you should work part time because you enjoy it. Your feelings count too and you can't be everything to everybody if you're not true to yourself first.

Stop working as long as your job is safe. Or work part time and get the full salary. That sounds like a dream! Either way, more time with Michelle is def a plus...
