Morning Sickness

I am sitting here at work recovering from morning sickness.

I was typing away and all of a sudden I had an overwhelming urge to throw up, I did not have time to get to the elevator to get to the bathroom on the floor below me, so I grabbed my trash can and let it rip..

My boss was in my office when this took place, he was horrified LMAO!!

All I heard from him was "Dear God Heather, do you want me to call your husband?!?" I asked him what for, there was nothing he could do about it.

Now word has gotten out and everyone, and I mean everyone is babying me, no one will allow me to lift anything, they keep asking me how I am feeling..UGH!!!

Of course my boss did indeed call Paul and Paul came up here to make sure I was OK.

I told them all I have been through this before and managed to work until I was 8.5 months pregnant with Michelle and they have nothing to worry about.

Paul is trying to convince me to take a leave of absence until the baby is 8 weeks old..We can make it on his salary alone, but there is no point in me taking the time off from work when I am capable of working.
I do understand that I am carrying his first child and he is concerned. And I do know that he would like for me to be a stay-at-home mom and to go back to work once the kids are in school.

The thought of this does sound appealing, however, I am not sure if I am ready to stop working yet.

maybe it's a boy this time since you didn't have morning sickness with Michelle. I had it only with my daughter, not my son. For me, watermelon helped when I was feeling queasy and those wrist bands at the drug store that are used for motion sickness.
