I went to see my doctor yesterday and the reason I went in was because I started spotting. They did an Ultrasound and everything looked good on the inside and there was no explanation of the bleeding I was having.

BUT, they have put me on bed rest until I am due to deliver this baby. At least I will have help with Michelle, my step-mother will come and stay with me during the day until Paul gets home from work in the evenings.

The doctor is considering inducing my labor close to the end of November so that I will not have to ride out two more weeks until the middle of December. They would only do this if I continue spotting.

The baby looks healthy and big, so they took some of my blood to see if I have gestational diabetes. They have been testing me for this all along, but the baby has quickly put on more weight since the last time I was in to see my doctor. I should have the results of these tests in a few days if not sooner.

Paul will be taking three weeks off from work to help me out once the baby comes. It will be good for him to have this time off so he can bond with the baby.

Oh, I plan on nursing this baby as well as long as my milk holds out. I sure hope it does not dry up like it did with Michelle.
