1 Day Till ...
Sure, it's 10 days till Christmas but it's only 1 day till my birthday. And since Christmas day will likely consist of me and my kitty cats on the couch, enjoying pizza and holiday movies after a long run; I'm way more excited about my birthday.
Tomorrow, I'm running with the adventure girls, going to work, and then out with friends for pizza, beer and/or sangria.
I'm taking Wednesday off and if it's not raining, Thom and I might go for a hike. He offered and since I've been trying for months to get him out of the house and into nature, I'm crossing fingers that it will stop raining for a couple days.
Since Thom found out that he's gonna have work in January and having just finished a quick project over the weekend, his attitude has lightened. I'm enjoying having my old Thom back. I knew I just had to wait out the unemployment... plus he turned on his heat and is lightly talking of finding a new home for Ty, the peeing 90lb puppy.
Ah, dare to dream....
