Director Roman Polanski is fighting extradition back here to the US on charges stemming from him having sexual contact with a girl 13 years old. My thought is bring him back here, kicking and screaming if it warrants it. He broke the law, fled this country and been making a pretty good living while thumbing his nose at the justice system. Now is the time for him to pay, but the justice system being what it is here I don't think Polanski will get whats coming to him. It doesn't impress me that he has his "Hollywood" buddies singing his praises the man is still guilty, and until someone proves otherwise he should be treated like the criminal he is. But it bothers me that people see what he is accused of much like the way people viewed President Clinton's indiscretion in the oval office, as just a guy getting a little action. I am no purist and no member of the moral majority, but there are certain standards that people should be held up to, no matter if you are famous or not. If Roman Polanski gets sent to jail it will serve him right, but if he is turned free..it'll just confirm what I already think of the justice system here in America.
