I know while traveling lifes path we make choices, we turn right when we should have gone left. We must live with these choices and continue on, for we can either learn from choices or dwell upon them. I hope they can learn from all this and it will make them more productive individuals

With people living longer I believe that this situation will need further addressing. I know in my own case my parents(85&81)have talked about moving into a facility, but not a nursing home.

I am speechlessThat is about the cruelest thing that I have heard. I know no amount of money can bring a loved one back...but maybe that hospital will think twice the next time they are in this position

In some sectors we are still a country of intolerance toward our fellow man. We need to exercise tolerance and openess to those people that cross our path, we need to show dignity and understanding toward our brethern.
