The only enjoyment I get for Halloween is taking my kids out..it won''t be long before they outgrow it. To me it's just another day, no more..no less.

As Martin put it the banks will get their money in other ways, they call them "stealth fees". But this shows that we as Americans are sick and tired of being bled for expenses that we just can''t afford, and that we are no longer choosing to be innocent bystanders when it comes to our finances. We are taking charge and determining our own fiscal future.

I don't think it matters who is in charge, man or woman as long as they can prove themselves worthy of the throne

I was stationed overseas when I was in the Army, a tour in Korea and one in Germany. It's amazing the insight you get to the way people were raised to how they picture your country. Some concepts are spot on, where others just leave you wondering where do they get such idea's?

I feel as an American citizen I have a right to disagree with the President and his policies, but I think that's where it should stop. There is no need to get into personal or family issues, for when you start to engage in that rhetoric you lose sight of the original issue you were discussing. Also mud-slinging and or name calling has no place either, if you can't conduct an intelligent conversation without using that then you shouldn't be debating in the first place. As my pal Joe Friday use to say.."just the facts ma'm".

The High School where I went canceled their entire football schedule about a week prior to the start of the season, didn't find out a reason though Life is a lot like sports teams, there has to be a winner and a loser..but every once in awhile karma gets involved and the "nice guy" actually ends up winning

Yeah here in central NY the air has a Fall feeling in it, also saw some geese taking flight..heading south.

They're no winners when it comes to war, we have wasted so much not only in taxpayers dollars but also in human life...and what do we have to show for it?? I believe we could fight another 10 years and still not be any further ahead then we are now, and it's sickening. The only ones profiting from this war are the defense contractors, from their backroom criminal dealings.
