Well, how about that! Bank of America is not going to be charging their customers the $5 per month fee for using debit cards. BOA says they are listening to their customers. Credit union and savings and loan memberships have jumped since the original BOA announcement. That is probably what they listened to.

As Martin put it the banks will get their money in other ways, they call them "stealth fees". But this shows that we as Americans are sick and tired of being bled for expenses that we just can''t afford, and that we are no longer choosing to be innocent bystanders when it comes to our finances. We are taking charge and determining our own fiscal future.

Chase and Wells Fargo decided not to charge that fee (for now), so the BOA cheese was standing alone!

Don't worry--they will get it another way--sort of politicians not wanting to raise taxes but the 'fees' keep on going up!!!
