Words with Friends

Don't get involved with Words with Friends (Facebook by Zynga) unless you want it to take over your life. Two friends asked if I wanted to play and suddenly I had multiple games going with multiple people. Three people from my fitness center. A member of my former investment club. The wife of a former co-worker. The daughter and granddaughter of my deceased best friend. The first thing in the morning and the last thing at night I am checking to see if I have games waiting. I am having to charge my Kindle at least once a day. On the other hand, who knew that qat is a word?

Thanks for the warning. I haven't played any games on Facebook so far, and I hope I don't start, but if I decide to, I'll look at that one first.

How do you feel about Scrabble? It is similar. I feel that I am helping my memory playing this game. I do crossword puzzles too for that reason.

Fb games are designed to be addictive, but it wears off rather quickly for most people. There are some who spent big bucks on Farmville and the others, but they are the exceptions. But even 1 out of 100 makes big money!

I played Facebook for a long time. I have friends who are still playing it. I never spent any real money, although I know people who have.

The only 2 'games' I play are on my desktop---free cell and hearts--that's it!

I used to play Facebook and Solitaire. Now just Words with Friends. It is like Scrabble.
