Allen and I started a Thanksgiving tradition a few years ago by going to the buffet at the Isles Casino and he picked me up at 2 and we were on our way. There was
an hour and a half wait so what do you do in a casino when you have
time to waste? You gamble!! Well I hate to lose and after losing $20 I
told Allen that was enough and let's see if we could get into the
restaurant a little earlier. I spoke to the girl at the desk and she
said that we could go on in so we did!
The food was good as was the service but I wasn't! I don't know what's wrong but something is wrong with me--can't
pinpoint it--the body just isn't working right--it's bad enough that
it seems every bone is aching when we went for the Thanksgiving buffet
I---me. myself and I--not only didn't feel like eating I couldn't eat my
usual 10 courses!!! It's so bad I am calling the doctor tomorrow and
breaking my once a year rule--will make an appointment for Monday--I
know he is going to want me to get all kinds of X-rays, Cat Scans, etc. I
came home and immediately went to bed and slept for 2 hours! I feel
better BUT not even hungry and that is a bad sign. I'll let you know what he says--or doesn't say!
I
did fill my plates up with all sort of goodies but for one of the very
few times in my life I didn't/couldn't eat!!! I didn't want to say
anything to Allen though he did offer to take me home but he was
enjoying himself so I sort of talked myself into feeling better at least
until I got home!
Here are some of the things I was going to eat and though a took a few bites I was very disappointed in myself! LOL
When
we left there was a line sneaking around the casino so our timing was
pretty good! Now next year I will have to go back and make up for this
year. I HATE NOT FEELING WELL!!!
