When we had our first child Kristy my wife and I took classes at the hospital where we were going to have her, it was informational..but it was also nice to interact with other first-time parents. $400 is alot to have someone come out and not be able to remedy the problem..good thing Ron is so handy.
I guess I will be taking the wife to see "Le Miz" next week...I'd rather see something else, but I am trying to better myself as a husband. Why do I fear that this might be an uphill battle

As crazy as fatherhood has made me at times I still wouldn't trade it for anything. Sometimes you have those moments where you wonder about how things will turn out or how your life will change, I think that goes with the territory. But I found out parenting isn't black or white, and nothing is cut and dry..it's a ride like no other
Jeri, my condolences to you..it's so hard to lose someone so unexpectedly like this. No matter how much we think we have our future planned out, a week, month, year in the end we are not the masters of our destiny..that I think is in the hands of a higher power. We can only take what we are given and live each moment to it's fullest.
Well I guess we couldn't expect 2 mild winters in a row, but at least here the temp is suppose to get up to almost 40 by next week. Hope you and Mike have a great 2013

Sounds as if it was a busy day in your household Kevin.
Everybody copes with tragedy in a different fashion, and my belief is whatever helps you get through is only for the good. I think there is no one solution that will stem tragedies such as this, but we must work together to seek an answer.
I voted for who I thought would be best for the job, and if that offends anyone...well thats too bad. I have a right to my opinion just as the next person does, thats the way this country rolls.
