I
have no desire to see "Zero Dark Thirty" or "DJango Unchained" (unless
they win a major Oscar and then to keep my record going I will see them)
nor did I want to see "Gangster Squad". I would like to see "The
Impossible" but the two movies where it is playing is too far away at
this point so we decided to go to see "Broken City", mainly because I am
a fan of Russell Crowe (Oh hush about Les Miz!) and Mark Wahlberg,
downtown at the Riverfront . When we got there we were informed that the film hadn't arrived yet (Okay, stop laughing George!!!) and though I would have sat through Les Miz again I had already planned to see it Tuesday at The Gateway Theatre.
(Hi George!) There wasn't any other movie playing there that we wanted
to see so we decide to just go for lunch and to go back to Home Depot
where I had a problem with one of the coupons I had for plants--seems NO
ONE knew what A CLASS 8 subclass 4 plant was!!! When I got home last
night I had emailed the Home Depot office, someone from the company had
called me and sent me an e-mail straightening everything out.
Back
to our movie less Friday (see pictures above): I had a 2-4-1 coupon for
Boston Market so we went there and shared a chicken sandwich and a
turkey salad bowl. Afterwards we stopped at the BaCiGeLaTi Italian Cafe
that I had read about in yesterday's paper. I had a small cup of
chocolate gelato and Allen had a medium cup with mixed berries and
hazelnut gelatos plus we each had a cannoli.
Afterwards
we went to Home Depot and I got two Senetti Pericallis plants that I
have never heard of before. The flowers are a very deep purple that
don't really show up good in the picture up above but they are a
beautiful plant!
I
am really surprised the world didn't come to an end with my not going to
a movie on Friday but I don't want to take any chances again so next
Friday it will be either "Amour" or "Quartet" at The Gateway Theatre!!!!
