Well first I will start off by wishing all my friends here a very Happy New Year, albeit a few days late. I figured I need to write something or rumors might get started concerning me falling off the edge of the planet into some black hole. As I look out the front window of this frosty NY morning I see snow, and keeping me company is one of our 2 cats. The cat that is here now is named Oreo, Oreo came to us as a stray and we had no intention of keeping him. But due to certain circumstances we decided (i/e the kids) that he should become a member of our family, so now we have a second cat.
I guess I should take solance in the fact that winter will only be here for another 2 1/2 months, hopefully by then it will become warmer..but then again that family of glaciers that moved in across the street look like they are here for the long haul(tried talking to them..gave me the cold shoulder). One thing I am looking forward to is summer vacation, with the weather like this I need something to feel positive about. Thinking about Maine this year, frolic in the ocean and maybe visit some of my Army buddies that I haven't seen in a long, long time..and of course there is the "Lobster"!! Polar Bear was knocking on the door, said he was collecting for Easter seals..said if he got a large enough seal he wouldn't have to eat again till Easter. Told him I had no seals..but offered one of the cats, he politely declined. Well time for a caffine refill..and ponder Conan's fate, you know he's got to be thinking "I moved all the way to LA for this"??..Hey what's this mean for Jimmy Kimmel??Well from a cold..snow covered Utica, NY I wish you all a happy weekend.
