Dorthy was a dreamer
A very cute little girl
She had a wonderful smile
Her hair, a bit of a curl.
She dreamed of a place
Somewhere over the rainbow
She didn't know how to get there
But she still wanted to go.
She lived on a farm
With her Auntie Em and Uncle Henry
Also with three farmhands
Zeke, Hunk, and Hickory.
Dorthy's best friend
Was her dog named Toto
And every place Dorthy went
Toto was there to go.
One day there was trouble
Toto chased Miss Gulches cat
Miss Gulch came, put Toto in a basket
And proudly proclaimed "that was that"!
Away Miss Gulch did ride
Taking Toto to meet his end
Poor Dorthy was left crying
Thinking she'd never see poor Toto again.
