We went to my sisters, who lives south of Rochester for the weekend. Saturday we went to the Nunda Fun Days, which is like a festival that the town has every year. All was going good until Sunday morning, that's when tragedy struck. While my BIL and I were out back of there house with the kids a woman approached my BIL and took him aside to talk with him. My BIL came back carrying a box, when I asked him what was going on he said that some had hit their dog and killed it. He had the dogs body in the box, and it was apparent that the dog was indeed deceased. The lady who had talked to my BIL wasn't the person who'd hit the dog, someone else had hit the dog and hadn't bothered to stop. My sister had the dog for about 8-9 years, and my sister and my wife weren't at home at the time. So I took the dog and I buried it for my BIL, and then I found a nice big flat stone to place on top of the site so they'd know where it was. That's the first time that I ever had to do that, it kind of put a damper on the weekend. :(
