Where we have traveled
Where we have been
Our journey
Around the world and back again.
Our spirit
And our soul
All those puzzle pieces
That make us whole.
We reach, we stretch
To reach our goal
As this world spins
In and out of control.
What we want
What we see
Cannot be reached
And is not meant to be.
So I will sit on my front porch
Watch the world rush by
For when my time comes
I'll say "see you later", not goodbye.
