Try to think of the quality of life
And not the quantity they had.
We try to think of them at peace
No more pain to go through
Try to comfort those left behind
Those near and dear to you.
We as friends and family
Come together to celebrate the
life they did live
The joy they brought us
The memories that they did give.
As we come together
We try not to cry
Even though they are leaving
And we must say goodbye.
But tomorrows another day
Another moment in time
And they will still be with us
In our heart, and in our mind.
