I try each day
To do the best I can
But sometimes life
Doesn't go according to plan.
Sometimes I feel I should change
But I am headstrong
And I will continue
Even if I am wrong.
I watch life go by
As it goes by so fast
Pretty soon the future
Has become the past.
Sitting in the darkness
Of the silent night
Figuring out
Wrong and right.
Life is living
With mistakes I make
And getting there
With the direction I take.
