I live in a state where it is illegal to use a cell phone or text while driving, but on my way to and from work I see that it is such a useless law. I think people see it in same light as drinking & driving, "I'm not like everyone else I can handle this". Well you are wrong, dead wrong..either you will end up injuring yourself or worse yet mess up someone else life. You might be willing to take the chance with your own life but what about the person riding with you, or the person in the next vehicle?? You are going to ruin his life due to your own blatant stupidity, it's just not worth it. A State Trooper was recently killed when her squad car drifted across the highway and into the path of an 18 wheeler, it's being looked at whether she was either talking on a cell phone or possibly texting at the time of the accident. I believe that people that cause accidents because of their cell phone usage should be subjected to stiffer penalties. To me it is a tragic waste of human life.
