Trump is talking about what a great coup he pulled off and how proud he is of his accomplishment.   WHAT ACCOMPLISHMENT???  The coup would have been if he WERE RIGHT....that the President WAS NOT born in the United States. Those of us who are sane already knew he was born in Hawaii, OUR 50TH STATE. It's a NON-STORY!
NOW some idiots are claiming that Hawaii may not actually be a state....since their "birther" claims are a non-issue.
Trump, on the other hand, has switched his thrust to questioning whether Obama really had the grades to qualify for Columbia University and later Harvard Law School. He wants to see his high school and college grades.Â
While he's at it, why doesn't he ask for his kindergarten report card?  After all, we don't know if "he played well with other students or not!!" How can we possibly expect him to get along with other world leaders if he "didn't mix" well in kindergarten?
Then we have the "social security" conspiracy theorists, who espouse that Obama has committed fraud by having two social security numbers.Â
Just where did the crazies get these ideas? They got them from conservative radio and television, which planted deceitful seeds and let the wingnuts run with them on the internet.
Has it never occurred to these people that social security would have caught this long ago on a tax return? It's ludicrous. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!    My brain can only absorb so much stupidity.
But don't think Fox News and conservative radio, even some liberal stations, trying to be pro-active,  don't keep these fires flaming every way they can.  And the answer is simple. By diverting attention away from the people it protects....the billionaires of the world... the television and radio pundits successfully can attack the programs Obama supports.
Those include Medicare, Medicaid, social security, and  health care reform, all of which a civilized society needs. What the billionaires want, and what that segment of the population buying into the propaganda will get if the extremely wealthy has its way, is a return to the 1920's when we had no programs in place to protect our senior citizens and the poor.
As a matter of note, did you know that Michael Moore stated recently that 400 men, all very powerful and with media influence, control more of the wealth in this nation than half of the hundred million Americans?
How could it be that 400 people have more wealth than half of the more than 100 million U.S. households?

So, what's the point?  Simply this. The conservative radio and tv hosts want to cut or eliminate every progressive step this nation has taken in the last hundred years when in fact just a few dollars more in tax on the "400" and their huge corporate holdings could solve all our country's monetary woes.Â

One last comment: Did you know that the first thing Hitler eliminated was the workers' unions?  Sound familiar?  As I have said and supported by fact time and again, the real neo-nazis are the far right...not the progressives and liberals.
