Sounds like a horrific childhood. Everything in moderation including being drugged by your parents. I wasn't drug all that much and I never took drugs. And it's interesting that that kind of parenting doesn't always work out. Some kids are so enraged, they just go bad anyway, or leave as soon as they can. I think the clue is in whether, while drugging your kids, you show them a lot of love and also listen to them. It's power over someone who has no say that is at the root of much dysfunction in later life.
So true. I have had my mouth washed out with soap...some people never learn.
