I'm so glad to hear that everything has worked out so well in the end -- even if there wasn't a thank you.
What a couple of idiots! I'm so glad that you still have a close relationship with your ex-inlaws and are able to make arrangements for your children to attend this reunion. It's one thing if your ex-hubby and his wife want to cut themselves off from everyone, but it's not fair that they should cut your children off from the family as a result of their own stupidity/stubboness.
What a dream! I love reading about other people's crazy dreams.
So glad to have you back. Sounds like you've had a very full summer... I hope things continue to improve for your grandson now that he's back with those who love and care for him most.
Happy Friday!
Happy Belated!
Good luck! Good luck! Good luck! And have a great weekend.
I would've attended your pity party. At least it's finally Friday... the week from hell is almost over.
The way this summer is flying by, Christmas will be here before you know it.
My sister used to work at Radio Shack and told me that they get commission on warranties... so you were right to assume that's why they're so pushy about it. We puchased a warrantee twice and needed it both times -- for my iPod (which totally died for no reason) and for our couch (which had a huge staple or nail almost poking through the material at the back.) Unfortunately for us, the warantee on our couch doesn't cover cat scratches... luckily an attractive throw does.
Best of luck!
Very cool!
I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but this was a beautiful post, filled with such truth. The people we don't want sitting next to us in life are often the people who need us to sit next to them. I'm sure she appreciated all the time you spent sitting next to her during her last days, meat head.
I'm so sorry that you have to leave... It's unfortunate that he does not respect your privacy and continues to read your blogs. Keep writing, even if just in a journal. The healing process isn't always pretty... but getting your feelings out there helps put things into perspective. Best of luck!
